BGSU pop culture building is torn down

Pop culture home is torn down

The Bowling Green State University pop culture building has been torn down ahead of schedule.

BGSU announced earlier in the week that the building would be demolished next week but the University says it was ahead of schedule and decided to tear the building down today. The structure is believed to have been purchased from a catalog in 1932.

The building has also been the home of four of the eleven Bowling Green State University presidents. The pop culture department will be moving onto the main campus and the old site will be the home of a new health center.
