Davis Makes a Good Move After a Bad One

Rogers alum Fred Davis made a bone-headed move earlier this month when he missed only the third day of mini-camp in his NFL career.

Davis' excuse; he 'overslept'. Not Good.

Since that day in early May, Davis has been the butt of jokes and the target of callers on local radio talk shows and newspaper articles.

Today, he took a step towards getting some credibility back, apologizing at a press conference in D.C.

He admitted his teammates have been ribbing him about it, claiming someone is getting him a Flavor Flav neck-watch when training camp starts.

However, if Davis has a good rookie season starting in August, no one will remember what happened in early May.
