Eagle Scout builds library

A new library is being constructed in Oregon and itâ??s all thanks to a local Eagle Scout project. Sixteen year old Eagle Scout Eric Oaties is leading a crew of volunteers that will be building a new library that will be used by the Harbor View Historical Museum.

Workers got started on the beginning stage of the building this weekend. When it is finished it should hold around 500 books. The project is all part of the process to change the old Baptist church into the new home of the historical society. The project is expected to take about a month to finish. Eric Oaties talks about the project in this interview.
