The Hartford Courant is reporting former Libbey Cowboy Nate Miles is turning pro. The article also says he will not be prosecuted for ignoring a restraining order and disorderly conduct.
This might be the best news for Miles since he was originally accepted at UConn.
Given the possible recruiting violations UConn is facing in their pursuit of Miles, the former Toledoan would have a tough time ever playing for a top-tier program again.
One year at Southern Idaho probably hasn't prepared him for the NBA but a year or two in the NBDL would at least introduce Miles to future NBA-caliber competition.
