      Time for Fairs, Festivals and Fun

      Get ready, set, go...to the nearest fair or festival. This coming weekend alone there are several festivals, including the 25th River Raisin Festival in Blissfield, the Lagrange Street Polish Festival in Toledo, and the Delta Chicken Festival. Oh yeah, here's another. The Toledo Harbor Lighthouse Festival at Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon.

      The Ottawa County Fair begins next week. It runs for a week. The Lucas County Fair starts the following week. Wood County's always takes place the first week of August. Learn about 4H agricultural programs and savor some great treats all at the same time. Elephant ears and lemon shake-ups.
