Washington Schools release free/reduced lunch plan

On Thursday, Washington Local Schools announced its 2008-2009 program year policy for free and reduced-price meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program.

Local school officials have adopted an income eligibility scale for free or reduced-price meals which you can read in the link below.

Families with children eligible for school meals may also be eligible for free health care coverage through Medicaid and/or Ohio TMs Healthy Start & Healthy Families programs. These programs include coverage for doctor visits, immunizations, physicals, prescriptions, dental, vision, mental health, substance abuse and more.
