A construction company from Northeastern Ohio is facing more than $200,000 in fines for failing to protect workers on the I-75 DiSalle bridge project.
APBN Inc. of Campbell, Ohio received the fines after federal safety inspectors visited the $10.2 million project last October and this March.
Inspectors found several willful violations, the highest classifications of offenses. No workers were ever hurt.
The company has 15 days to accept or contest the fines.
Do you agree with the fine or do you think the company is getting off easy for putting workers' lives at risk? Post your comments below.
