Preliminary investigation reveals the two teens shot in Toledo Thursday night were targeted in a vehicle by several suspects, according to the Toledo police report.
Police units responded to a call of a person shot in the 1400 block of Waverly Avenue around 10 p.m. According the news release, officers found 19-year-old Limmie Reynolds III on the porch with a gunshot wound to the chest.
A witness approached and advised a second victim was located at another residence on the street. Deonta Allen, 19, was found lying in a yard nearby and pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the report, the victims were seated in a car in the 1900 block of Fernwood when several suspects approached and fired shots at the victims.
There are no reports of arrests at this time.
