This is the park where the boaters parked their truck before starting a fishing trip on Wednesday.

U.S. Coast Guard crews searching for two missing boaters on Lake Erie Thursday morning have recovered two bodies, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities told our reporter they cannot yet confirm the identities and are in the process of bringing the bodies to shore at Sterling State Park.

The missing men, 54-year-old Godfried McKinney of Southfield and 64-year-old Kendrick Covington of Detroit, went fishing Wednesday and never returned.

The U.S. Coast Guard sent crews from Detroit and Toledo to Estral Beach to search for the men.
