2 house fires engulfed in flames Thursday morning

Crews arrived to a house fire on 128th Street around 2.a.m. that spread to a neighboring house.

Two house fires broke out early Thursday morning.

The first fire happened around 2 a.m. that destroyed a rental house on 128th Street and Pointe Place before a new family could move-in. Toledo firefighters said the flames started on the porch and then spread into the home. Authorities said the fire caught onto a neighboring home. Crews have torn down the house.

Toledo firefighters were also battling another house fire in east Toledo. The second fire happened in the block of 600 Milton Street around 4:49 a.m. The fire spread to all levels of the house. Authorities said the fire is suspicious. An arson investigator arrived on scene to inspect the scene before tearing it down.
