Two teens accused of staging a robbery were arrested and charged with theft on Monday.
The police report indicates one of the suspects was an employee at Evansport Carryout, 19-year-old Jordan Helton. He allegedly recruited Emmanuel Appel, 18, to rob the store while he was working.
Through the Defiance County Sheriff's investigation, it was found that Helton and Appel had conspired to commit the crime together.
Both suspects were booked at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on an initial charge of felony theft. They will appear in court on Wednesday.
