Chrysler announced on Thursday that it would resume production of the Jeep Cherokee on two shifts next week.
Earlier this week, the company revealed that about 500 workers were being temporarily laid off from Toledo's North Assembly plant.
The company said that the plant had made enough vehicles to supply current demand for the product at dealerships.
Second shift employees will now go back to work on Monday.
The company hopes to have the vehicles, made at the Toledo plant, at dealerships by the end of September.
