Michigan and Ohio narcotics task forces arrested three men in connection to medical marijuana and heroin trafficking over the past five months.
Defiance County authorities say the investigation involved 10-15 pounds of marijuana and various amounts of heroin distributed in a month in Defiance and William counties.
Brian Mullins, 28, of Wayne County, Mich. was charged with possession of heroin, a third degree felony. He's also being held on a parole violation issued in Wayne County.
Michael Hertz, 29, of Hillsdale, Mich. was charged with with two counts of trafficking in fourth degree marijuana felonies.
Jerod Dockery, 28, of Defiance, Ohio is being held on a probation violation.
All three suspects are being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio pending arraignment on Monday.
