3 teens charged in West Toledo home invasion murder

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot at Twin Oaks apartments early Monday.

Three teens are charged in the robbery-turned-shooting death of a 21-year-old man during a West Toledo home invasion early Monday.

According to the police report, 17-year-old Cody Alan Ramsay was arrested Tuesday night on charges of aggravated robbery and one count of murder. Police have issued warrants for the arrest of 17-year-old Levi Jackson, who is charged with the same.

Another 17-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Her identity was not released.

Just after midnight on Monday, police say at least two of the suspects broke into a Twin Oaks Apartment unit and opened fire, fatally wounding Nathaniel Phillips. Another victim, 19-year-old Michael Kohlhofer, Jr., was shot in the leg.

Police are seeking an additional suspect described as a 20-25 year old black male who goes by the nickname "Snout."
