Police in northeast Ohio say four teenagers broke into a school and used a staff member's Facebook page to post an online threat about a bomb and a shooting that prompted officials to cancel classes.
The Repository in Canton reports the teens were arrested and are charged with inducing panic and breaking and entering at Central Catholic High School, which was closed Thursday. No explosives were found.
The principal says school officials and police considered the possibility that the threat may have been a copycat action afterbomb threats in recent weeks prompted evacuations at schools in several area counties. But he says officials decided to cancelclasses as a precaution.
Perry Police Chief Michael Pomesky says the teen suspects attend other schools in the Canton area.
