4 Toledo shootings in 2 days, Latest victim killed Wednesday night

A violent 48 hours in Toledo ended, around 10 pm on Wednesday, with the death of one person whose body was found in an alley on the west side of the city.

Witnesses at intersection of Dorr and Woodstock saw a body being taken away from the scene following the Glass City's fourth shooting in 2 days. Toledo Police said Shaun Garrod Flowers, 22, suffered multiple gunshot shot wounds. Flowers was discovered in the alley of 1219 Woodstock.

Just hours earlier, a man was wounded in Central Toledo near the intersection of Norwood and Lawrence.

The victim told police that he was walking in the area, around 5 pm, when gunfire erupted from a passing vehicle.

Late Tuesday, another man was wounded during a shooting at Islington and Fulton.

During broad daylight hours, also on Tuesday, 31-year-old Andrew Anderson was gunned down in the 1500 block of Elm Street in North Toledo.

Toledo Police say Anderson was shot multiple times and died from his injuries at a local hospital.

Authorities have not released any information on possible suspects for any of the four shootings.
