A refreshing end to the work week

Canadian high pressure has moved into the region and will provide the longest stretch of quiet, precipitation-free weather we've seen in more than seven months.
Plenty of sunshine in store for Thursday and right on through Memorial Day. Our next shot at showers and thunderstorms doesn't look to arrive until Tuesday of next week.
Thursday and Friday will be refreshing with highs in the upper 60's and lower 70's under mostly sunny skies. Thursday will be a little windy at times with winds out of the northwest at 10 - 20 mph.
The holiday weekend offers a significant warm-up: Satuday will be sunny with highs in the mid-70's. We're into the upper 70's under mostly sunny skies on Sunday. The pools open just in time as it will be warm and humid for Memorial Day with partly cloudy skies and highs climbing into the low and mid 80's.
Don't forget to be liberal with sunscreen these next few days. We have a very high sun angle right now as the Summer Solstice is less than a month away.
So prep the grills on that back deck - GAME ON!
