A statewide Amber Alert was issued Monday morning for a missing Cleveland boy who may be headed to California.
Authorities said 8-year-old Kevin Criss Jr. was last seen at his home in West Boulevard when he was reportedly taken by his non-custodial father June 30 in the afternoon.
The boy is a 4-foot-2 white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 65-pounds and was last seen wearing Indians t-shirt and dark blue shorts.
The suspect is Kevin Criss, 36, his non-custodial father who police said is a suspected meth addict with violence tendencies. Criss is a 5-foot-10 white male with brown hair and brown eyes and weighs about 175 pounds. Officials said Criss took the child from a family member at a swimming pool hotel.
They are believed to be traveling in a gold 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette mini van with Ohio license plate FOA 3605.
