reak out the pumpkins and the ciderâ?¦ oh wait, it's the middle of July.
es, a very strange set-up is taking place with the flow of the jet stream and we're getting a blast of cool air, one typically not seen til late
September, right in the middle of summer. It will be a very comfortable week to chill out at the Marathon Classic.
unshine and wind are on tap today as skies will be partly cloudy and winds will gust to 30 mph.
Highs this afternoon will get barely above 70 degrees - a good 15 degrees below normal! With sustained winds out of the west of 15 to 25 mph you will actually feel a wind chill in the mid and upper 60's most of the day! That's saying something - goose bumps in the middle of july!
e will get a reinforcing shot of cold air moving in aloft tomorrow and that will increase cloud cover and could cause some spotty showers
Wednesday afternoon and evening. So for Wednesday we'll go with sunny skies during the morning hours with mostly cloudy skies developing during the afternoon. It will be breezy and cool with spotty showers and highs again in the lower 70's.
he rest of the work week looks great with plenty of sunshine and a gradual warming trend.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny and refreshing with highs in the mid 70's.
hampionship weekend looks terrific with more sunshine and highs in the low and mid 80's.
Enjoy as we don't see this kind of unseasonably cool outbreak very often. You may want to don slacks rather than shorts these next few days. WILD!!!
