The Lucas County Sheriff has made a second arrest in the murders of Johnny Clarke and Lisa Straub -- the Springfield couple that were murdered in Straub's parents' home in January 2011.
According to Lucas County Sheriff James Telb, deputies have arrested Cameo D. Pettaway, 22, of Toledo. He has been charged with two counts of aggravated mureer and one count of aggravated robbery. He will be arrainged Tuesday in Sylvania Municipal Court.
Pettaway has an extensive criminal and traffic record that includes several offenses for narcotics, domestic violence, and menacing.
"The Lucas County Sheriff's Office will continue this thorough investigation into this heinous crime until all individuals are brought to justice," said Sheriff Telb. "We ask everyone for their continued support in providing our officers with information leading to the arrest and conviction of all individuals involved in this crime."
Lisa Straub, 20, and Johnny Clarke,21, were found murdered in the Straub family home on January 31. On September 23, police announced the arrest of Samuel Todd Williams, 24, of Toledo. He is being held in the Lucas County Jail on a $4.3 million bond, charged with two counts of aggravated murder and one count of burglary. Williams is scheduled to go to trial on January 18.
