The Treasure Hunters are in town this week and are looking to buy your collectables.
They expect to see all types of items at this event including: coins and paper currency issued prior to 1970, toys, dolls, trains, vintage jewelry, old and modern musical instruments, war memorabilia, gold and silver jewelry, costume jewelry, advertising memorabilia, swords, knives, daggers and more.
A $1,000 bill dated back to 1880 was recently purchased by the group for $23,000.
â??We encourage folks to bring in their old jewelry that just sits on their dresser, at home,â?? said Matthew Enright, vice president of media for Treasure Hunters.â??We took a pile of 14k gold jewelry off a visitors hand and they walked away with a check for $900,â?? he said.
The show runs through April 21 at the Ramada Toledo Conference Center located at 3536 Secor Road in Toledo.
Hours: Thursday and Friday from 9a.m. â?? 6p.m. and Saturday 9a.m. â?? 4.pm.
