Casualty numbers are starting to come in from the Oklahoma
City area, where a monstrous tornado has left a scene of devastation.
The state medical examiner's office says at least 37 people have been killed, seven are believed to be school children, and that toll is expected to rise.
Meanwhile, officials at two hospitals say they're treating nearly 60 patients.
At least 10 are listed in critical condition.
The injured include more than a dozen children.
The Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore took a direct hit, and rescuers have been pulling children alive from the wreckage.
Officials say the storm had winds up to 200 mph.
