The father of baby Elaina Steinfurth, whose remains were found in an east Toledo garage, made a court appearance Monday on unrelated domestic abuse and assault charges.
T.J. Steinfurth's case was continued. He was arrested after his live-in girlfriend told Toledo Police he hit and strangled her early Saturday morning. Steinfurth posted a $2,500 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 31. Steinfurth had been widely reported in the news last year after his daughter went missing in June.
