Former Rogers High School football star and current NFL player Fred Davis has been arrested for drunk driving, one day after he was suspended from the NFL for a substance abuse policy violation.
The 28-year-old Washington Redskins tight end was found slumped over the steering wheel of his black Rolls-Royce at a Virginia intersection yesterday afternoon.
Davis' arrest comes less than 24 hours after the NFL suspended him indefinitely for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
He was suspended for the final games of the 2011 season for failing several drug tests for marijuana.
Davis becomes a free agent next month.
