Opening Day is finally here! After the off-season we've had it's hard to believe isn't it? Things could be better weather wise. Things could be worse. We're dodging the widespread, heavy rain today. It has moved to our south and east! Our issue this afternoon will be evident by batting practice - that's the development of strong winds. We have a High Wind Advisory in effect from 2 - 11pm. High temps will top out in the low and mid 50's. Winds will turn to the northwest and be sustained at 20 - 30mph with gust to 45mph. If heading downtown for festivities and the season opener please where layers and a good windbreaker for an outer shell.
Overnight we will see gradual clearing with lows in the lower 30's. The weekend looks good with sunglasses required both Saturday and Sunday. High Saturday will be in the upper 40's / Sunday into the mid 50's - right where they should be this time of year.
Early next week another rainmaker moves in during the day Monday. Soaking rain and isolated thunderstorms are likely.
Have a great time getting your Game Face on, at the game - actually both games and have a terrific weekend. Go Hens/Walleye! YIIPPPEEE!!!!!
