Bedford Public Schools are making up snow days with an extra week and a half at the end of the school year.

Students wonâ??t be out for summer vacation until June 17, but school officials say that day could be pushed back even further with additional snow days.

â??We certainly donâ??t want students out on the side of the road when frostbite can set in within 20 minutes,â?? Bedford Public Schools Superintendent Mark Kleinhans said.

Kleinhans says the updated schedule is being released now so families can make their summer plans accordingly.

â??Iâ??m sure there are some things that canâ??t be changed,â?? Kleinhans said. â??And weâ??re just going to have to be flexible about those.â??
