      Bedford Schools plan to make up calamity days

      Bedford Public Schools extended the last day of school to mid-June in response to make up for exceeded calamity days used this winter.A news release sent Wednesday indicates schools officials decided Tuesday, June 17 as the last day for all students. Class of 2014 last day and graduation date will not change.Legislation in Lansing has stalled to decide how districts should make up missed days due to inclement weather.
