A Liberty Center man, set to go on trial next week, has taken a plea in the case of a 2-year-old Bowling Green girl killed last year.
36 year-old Nathan Brenner entered Alford pleas to a pair of charges for endangering a child, and in exchange, murder and involuntary manslaughter charges against him were dropped.
Brenner was arrested in 2012 following the death of his girlfriend's daughter, Emma Zehnpfennig.
The 2-year-old died of abusive head trauma in March of 2012.
Brenner will serve 11 years in prison for the child endangerment convictions.
