A Bowling Green State University football coach has been put on administrative leave after being arrested for drunken driving.
Falcons offensive line coach, Bill Durkin, was not on the sidelines for the team's win over Tulsa Thursday. The school says Durkin was placed on administrative leave after being arrested Aug. 24 for OVI.
According to Bowling Green court records, Durkin, 42, of Perrysburg, was arrested for drunken driving in the early morning hours of Aug. 24. Later that morning, he was cited for driving under a suspended license, a result of his OVI arrest hours earlier.
Durkin entered a not guilty plea, to the charge of OVI, at his first court appearance. He is scheduled to be back in court on Sept. 4.
