The Bowling Green State University community gathered on Friday to mourn the loss of recent graduate Cory Barron.
More than 50 people, including family, friends and classmates shared their memories of Barron on the university lawn.
Most remembered Barron as a friend who did not hesitate to lend a helping hand. Members of Barronâ??s family said he graduated as a Communications major, after switching from a Special Education major during his senior year. He still graduated on time. Barronâ??s sister also said he helped children with autism in his free time.
Barron went missing on Sunday while attending a Jason Aldean concert at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The 22-year-old was found dead in a landfill in Lorain County on Tuesday. Authorities continue to investigate but they believe Barron fell into a garbage chute at the top of Progressive Field.
