If your like me you've waited for the wind to stop howling and drifitng snow to dig out. We're in Frostbite Territory today, cover up all exposed skin to safegaurd yourself with prolonged exposure.
Skies will be mostly sunny today with highs near 10 degrees and subzero windchills. Overnight temps stay put under partly cloudy skies. Saturday offers some wind and increasing cloudiness after a sunny start. Highs will top out in the upper 20's with cooler windchills.
Our next weathermaker is another impactful snow storm that plows through here Sunday. As of Friday morning models suggest this could be another meaningful snowfall with snowfall totals of 3 - 7 inches. Stay tuned but right now it looks like moderate to heavy snow throughout the daylight hours on Sunday.
No rest for the weary as in the wake of what storm the coldest air we've seen in years moves in for the first half of the work week when we'll see overnight lows dipping into the double digits below zero and sub-zero high temps Monday and Tuesday. Windchills Monday night could go as low as -35!
