Toledo authorities pulled the body of a white male from the Maumee River, found floating near the Imagination Station, on Wednesday night.
Police say that around 8 p.m. they received a tip from an employee at the Grand Plaza Hotel reporting a body floating in the water.
Police say the victim is in his mid 50's and had no apparent trauma to his body.
They are not ruling out the possibility the man's death was accidental.
"He could have slipped in the water," Toledo Police Sgt. Bill Wauford said.
Officials say the victim was also fully clothed, when he was found, and was still wearing jewelry and shoes.
Investigators added that they dont believe the body was in the water for a long time.
An autopsy on the body is scheduled for Thursday at the Lucas County Coroner's office.
