Search crews have located the body of one of four boaters missing in Lake Erie.
According to U.S. Coast Guard CPO Gabriel Settel, crews located the body of one boater shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday, near Toussaint Reef, where the group's boat was found partially submerged hours earlier.
Officials received a report of a missing 21-foot bass fishing boat with four people on board around 2 a.m. The group had been fishing near Rattlesnake Island, northeast of Put-In-Bay, Wednesday evening.
By around 6 a.m., crews were able to locate the boat, partially submerged near Toussaint Reef, approximately five miles northeast of Locust Point, where the group launched Wednesday evening.
The U.S. Coast Guard continues to search, by air and on water, for three boaters who remain missing.
Officials said Thursday that the person whose body was found was wearing a life jacket.
