Bowling Green reminding residents to remove cars from street during snow emergencies

With the snow falling in Bowling Green, the city is reminding drivers of its parking rules, especially when streets are covered.

Snow emergencies are declared with as little as two inches of snow, so it's very important to make sure to move your cars when that's issued.

"There's really two reasons. One is to ensure that the streets can get completely cleared of snow and ice, so that it's safe for the traveling public and other people to use the street. Also, for safety services: fire, police, EMS, to get in and out of different areas of the city," said Bowling Green Assistant Municipal Administrator, Joe Fawcett.
