Ohio Investigative Unit agents discovered more than 5,000 packages of synthetic pot from a Toledo convenience store last week.Officials executed a search warrant at the Airport Stop Store at 3326 Airport Highway that's listed under Omar of Ohio, Inc.Agents had been investigating the store since summer following a series of complaints about possible drug violations at the store.About 5,700 packages of synthetic cannabinoids and $51,000 cash had been confiscated.The store was cited for several counts of possessing drugs, drug paraphernalia, and drug sales.Possible criminal charges are pending for the Lucas County Prosecutor??s Office to consider.The Ohio Liquor Control Commission will decide if the store receives possible removal, fines, or suspension of its liquor license.
