In advance of a big storm system poised to work into the region overnight, we're going to get a taste of something we've been starving for this fall--some warm temps.
Yes, with some wind out of the south this afternoon, we will see high temps getting 10 to 15 degrees above normal, into the low and mid 70s. After some morning sunshine skies will tend to be mostly cloudy this afternoon with stout southerly winds of 20 to 25 mph.
Showers roll in overnight and will stick with us into Thursday morning. As we get into your Thursday afternoon we'll likely see some sunshine. Highs will be cooler, in the mid 60s. Friday looks windy, cool and wet with highs only reaching the mid 50s.
