Mother Nature is as confused as we are as weâ??ve got a tale of two seasons in store Fridayâ?¦ winter with snow showers this morning, followed by spring-like weather this afternoon.
Itâ??s back to winter for the weekend through the middle of next week! After the scattered snow showers this morning, weâ??ll see sunshine break out this afternoon and a dramatic, short-lived warm-up. Under partly cloudy skies, temps actually get slightly above normal with highs topping out in the low and mid 50â??s. Enjoy it while you can! Overnight, a cold front traverses the region with light, scattered showers.
Arctic air will slowly invade southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio throughout the weekend. Skies will be partly cloudy Saturday afternoon with highs in the low 40â??s. Sunday will be even colder with mostly cloudy skies and highs struggling to get to 30 degrees.
The February type of cold will stick around through mid-week and we could even have to suffer through another snow maker during the day Tuesday.
It looks like the Jetstream is poised to change its â??winter patternâ?? towards the end of next week. The computer models have been fairly consistent in their forecasts these past few day. That means a sustained return to more seasonable and warmer temps should be on track towards the end of next week.
Hang tough â?? we might as well make the most of it. Right?
Have a great Friday and weekend. Iâ??ll see you bright and early Monday morning on WNWO â?? Today!
