Three brothers have been arrested after three women, missing for a decade, were rescued from a Cleveland home Monday evening.
Cleveland Police have arrested Olin Castro, 50; Ariel Castro, 52; and Pedro Castro, 54. The men are being held in connection with the disappearance and kidnapping of three women, including 26-year-old Amanda Berry who went missing ten years ago.
Berry was rescued from Ariel Castro's home , just a few miles south of downtown Cleveland, after a neighbor heard screams coming from the home Monday. Berry told the neighbor she had been kidnapped ten years ago.
On a recorded 911 call Monday , Amanda Berry said she had been taken by someone and pleaded for police officers to arrive at the home on Cleveland's west side before he returned. She told the dispatcher : "I've been kidnapped, and I've been missing for 10 years. And I'm here. I'm free now."
Two other women were also rescued from the home. Michelle Knight had been missing since 2002, and Gina DeJesus was missing since 2004.
A six-year-old girl was also rescued. Police have confirmed that Berry is the girl's mother; however, they have yet to determine the father.
Charges against the Castros have not been filed.
