A Bryan faces life in prison after being charged with raping three children over a period of 11 years.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced Wednesday that a grand jury in Williams County has indicted Daniel Bignell, 40, on 14 charges including rape, attempted rape, gross sexual imposition, and kidnapping.
Prosecutors say Bignell began committing his crimes in 1999 and up until 2010 preyed on three children who were 13-years-old or younger.
The Williams County Sheriff's Office began investigating the case after one of the victims, who is now an adult, came forward.
"We applaud the bravery of all the victims in this case," said Attorney General DeWine. "It takes extreme courage for victims to come forward after years of abuse."
Bignell faces up to life in prison if convicted of all charges. He is currently being held in the Williams County Jail.
