Mon, 14 Oct 2013 09:14:50 GMT — People laced up their shoes for the annual Buddy Walk to spread awareness about people living with Down Syndrome.The one-mile walk was held at the shops at Fallen Timbers in Maumee Sunday.The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo organized the walk in conjunction with National Down Syndrome Awareness month in October.Organizers said the walk celebrates the achievements and abilities of people with Down Syndrome.
