Clyde, OH - Those who knew 17-year-old Taylor Norman are still in shock after losing one of their closest friends to cancer.
Taylor was receiving treatment at the Cleveland Clinic since being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in January.
Those closest to Taylor say they thought she was doing better, and would be home in a few weeks, but recently she suffered a stroke due to sever blood clots and was put in a medically induced coma.
Taylor Norman passed away shortly after.
Her class graduation was last Sunday. 200 orange balloons were released during graduation to honor her memory.
Taylor's friends share their fondest memories of her.
"She loves to sing and dance," says Ashleigh Lowe, one of Taylor's closest friends.
They describe her as a wonderful person, and use words like funny, sincere, and cuddle buddy when describing their friend.
They say they will keep her memory alive in the future by remembering all the good times they shared.
"We love and we miss her already," says Lowe.
Lowe and Brieanna Flanagan spent Tuesday afternoon printing photographs that they will put up at Taylor's funeral this weekend.
