CAPTURED Toledo sex offender wanted for not registering... again

Larry Jamal Carlton, 29, is wanted for failing to register his address as a convicted sex offender.

A convicted Toledo sex offender is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for habitually failing to register his address with the Lucas County Sheriff's Office.

Larry Jamal Carlton, 29, was convicted of gross sexual imposition and sentenced to three years in prison in 2002. Upon being released from prison, Carlton was required to register his addresses with the sheriff wherever he resides, attends school or works for 20 years. Since his release from prison, however, Carlton has been convicted twice of failing to register.

The last known address for Carlton was in the 1400 block of Upton Avenue in Toledo. He is 6'1", 175 pounds and has a tattoo on right arm that says "TYVON.LOP" and "Valerie" on his right hand.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED, the United States Marshals Service in Toledo at 419-259-6286, or Toledo Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a cash award for information leading to the arrest of Carlton.
