The Ottawa County horse cruelty case of Robin Vess is finally coming to an end. On Friday Vess was convicted of 42 counts of animal cruelty. NBC24's Pamela Osborne was able to meet up with one of the horses care takers.\
Carol Parker was at the Oak Harbor farm on January 29th when over 35 horses were removed. Parker continued to work with them daily until they were placed in foster care. She says the court ruling was fair.
Parker regularly visits with some of the rescued horses and their fosters. Their previous owner, Robin Vess faces up to 90 days in jail and a $750 fine for each count of animal cruelty.
