Case against Angela Steinfurth pushed back until November

The east
Toledo mother of baby Elaina, whose remains were recoverd in September, will wait another month for a court date.

Angela Steinfurth made an appearance in court Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing. Steinfurth's attorney has asked for additional time to review evidence collected by Toledo Police. Her next court date is scheduled for Nov. 20.

Steinfurth has been behind bars for several months since her indictment in July. Angela, along her ex-boyfriend, Steven King, faces a charge of obstruction of justice. They were the last two people seen with baby Elaina after her reported disappearance June 2.

King's court date is scheduled for Nov. 4.

The east Toledo toddler's skeletal remains were found in a detached garage at a home belonging to Kingâ??s family in September. WNWO spoke to Kingâ??s mother who said her son directed investigators to Elainaâ??s location.

WNWO spoke to Elaina's father and paternal grandfather, Terry Steinfurth Sr., who attended Wednesday's hearing.

"I'm just hoping one of them starts talking because Elaina doesn't deserve any of this. She didn't deserve it from the start," Steinfurth said.

Friends and family paid their final respects at Elaina's funeral at the end of September.
