Case against mother of Baby Elaina granted continuance; pre-trial changed for December

King's court date is set for Dec. 9.

The mother of a toddler found dead on Toledoâ??s east side was scheduled for a court appearance Wednesday morning, but her hearing has been postponed until December.

Angela Steinfurth, mother of baby Elaina Steinfurth, made several court appearances for preliminary hearings for several months since her arrest in July on charges of obstruction of justice.

Steinfurthâ??s defense team has been granted another continuance. Her pre-trial date is scheduled for Dec. 3.

Autopsy results released earlier in November confirmed baby Elainaâ??s death had been ruled a homicide. Lucas County coroner discovered several "fractures" to her arms and legs. Toledo police investigators found September immature skeletal remains at a detached garage that belonged to Steven King's mother.

Angela's ex-boyfriend, Steven King, has behind bars on obstruction of justice charge.

King and Steinfurth were the last two people seen with Elaina before she was reported missing in June.

King's court date is set for Dec. 9.
