Cedar Point plays host to moving military homecoming

Cedar Point

played host to an emotional family reunion, on Monday, between a U.S. Marine and his family.

During Monday night's Luminosity show at the amusement park, Lance Corporal Kyle Cooke of the United States Marine Corps surprised his brother.

Konner Cooke, a Cedar Point employee, was visibly moved by the reunion with his brother.

The Cooke brothers' parents joined the siblings on stage after traveling in from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The special homecoming helped kick off

Cedar Pointâ??s Stars and Stripes Celebration

where all active, retired and honorably-discharged members of the United States Armed Forces receive complimentary admission into both Cedar Point and Soak City through Saturday, July 5.

The celebration is also touted as a special week "filled with admission deals, fun and extra events for the whole family".
