An intersection in West Toledo reopened Wednesday after a gas line break.
It happened on Central Avenue between Upton and Jackman Road. The gas line break shutdown the entire block and evacuated three homes around 9 a.m. A spokesperson said the line had been punctured, but crews bypassed the line a few hours later. The spokesperson confirmed those who had been evacuated can re-enter their homes.
Customers will continue to have service as engineers continue repairs. The 4-inch line will have to be replaced and expect repairs until end of this week.
