New details Wednesday in the case of a Monroe County dog who was fed meat with dozens of needles hidden inside.
The county prosecutor has issued a warrant for 64-year-old Gary Pinchoff. He's facing four counts of killing or torturing an animal. He could get 4 years in prison if convicted.
Authorities say Pinchoff was upset because he believed the dog kept him up at night with its barking. But the owner of the 8-year-old lab who had to be put down after swallowing as many as 80 needles says it wasn't his dog that was barking.
Andy Wann told the Monroe Evening News it had to have been another neighbor's dog because his dog named Jinx was a house dog and didn't roam the neighborhood.
Pinchoff has not yet been taken into custody.
Do you think four years in prison is a long enough punishment if Pinchoff is convicted in this case? Post your comments below.
