Chrysler investing $40 million into Dundee plant

Chrysler is pumping $40.5 million into its plant in Dundee, Michigan.

The automaker is converting an assembly line to make cranks, heads and engine blocks for the 2-liter four cylinder Tigershark engine.

The investment doesn't mean new jobs but will the plant will add production by the end of the third quarter.

Chrysler is also investing in a plant in Trenton, Michigan which will create about 298 new jobs.
