The city of Perrysburg has given Costco the green light to build in their town.
The city's Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 to 1 to approve the final site plan for the retailer.
The Washington state based company plans to build their store at the Eckel Junction Road and State Route 25.
In previous city council meetings over the proposed plans, some residents voiced their concerns over increased traffic because of the store.
Besides traffic concerns, a gas line on the proposed site has been another issue for Costco. The retailer has agreed to buy a new gas line that will need to be rerouted.
But, the companies representative said on Thursday at the city meeting, Costco won't be able to close on the property if they can't get an agreement with Columbia gas on proposed changes.
If all issues all handled, Costco's representative says construction could begin as early as November 2014 or Spring 2015.
